How to Donate

Making a donation to the CompTIA Educational Foundation will directly impact lives by funding IT training to help veterans, at-risk youth, individuals with disabilities, women, minorities and dislocated workers gain valuable skills that will help them land long-term IT employment.

Here are five reasons you can be confident that your investment in the Foundation is a good one:

  • We make every dollar count — 92% of every donation goes directly to training individuals in need.

  • We have helped more than 1,000 people become trained and certified for employment within the IT industry.
  • We work with more than 4,000 secondary and post-secondary schools across the United States.
  • We assist hundreds of employers to identify and hire qualified individuals.

All current annual gift donors are listed on the Foundation’s Web site under their respective gift levels. Additionally, donors are given the right to post the Creating Futures logo on their Web site to show their  industry support.

 

The CompTIA Educational Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 organization. All gifts are 100% tax-deductible.

Corporate Matching Gifts
By taking advantage of a company's matching gift benefit, you may be able to double or even triple the amount of a contribution. Each company has its own matching guidelines. First, request a matching form from your company. Then complete and submit the form to the CompTIA Educational Foundation along with your gift. We'll verify the completed form and return it to your company so that your company can issue a matching gift contribution.

Planned Giving
A planned gift is a thoughtful process that enables you to maximize the personal benefits of your gift, and make a significant charitable impact. A planned gift to the Creating Futures program makes the most of your personal financial goals with the intent to give back.

Planned gift options include bequests, charitable gift annuities, securities, life insurance and retirement asset beneficiaries and charitable remainder trusts.

Endowment Fund

Gifts to this endowment are never spent, and interest earned each year is put toward particular needs of the CompTIA Educational Foundation.
