Transitioning U.S. Veterans, individuals with
disabilities, youth-at-risk and dislocated workers may
register with the Creating Futures program by completing the
short form below. When opportunities present themselves for
free training, study guides and self-assessments in your area,
a member of our staff will contact you about the opportunity.
Participation is based on eligibility and available
opportunities in your region. By filling out the form,
Creating Futures cannot guarantee participation in the
program.
Category Participation Definitions:

U.S. Veterans -
Any individual who has served in a branch of the U.S. military with a general
or honorable discharge. |
|
|
Disabled veteran -
Any military veteran who was disabled by injury or disease incurred or
aggravated in the line of duty during active military service. |
|
|
Individuals with Disabilities -
Any individual who receives disability benefits. |
|
|
Youth-at-Risk -
Any individual between 15 and 21 years of age who is unable to achieve the
educational, economic, or social expectations of their community due to
poverty, minority status, a deficiency in family support, or inadequate
employment. |
|
|
Dislocated Workers -
Any individual who has been terminated, laid off, or received a "notice of
termination or layoff" and are unlikely to return to their usual occupation. |
|
|
Women -
To build diversity throughout the IT industry, the Creating Futures program offers training to females in need.
|
|
|
Racial or Ethnic Minority -
A group of people of common ancestry, distinguished from others by characteristics such as hair type, color of eyes and skin, stature, religious, racial, or linguistic traits.
